Every serious online seller has the same bottleneck. There is always more to do than hours in the day: write product copy, watch analytics, chase abandoned carts, recruit affiliates, launch campaigns, check inventory. Most of it is important. Almost none of it is fun. This is exactly why we built the MuntijPro AI Agent: a full-time growth co-pilot that works your store when you cannot.
Before you use it well, you need to understand what it is and what it is not. The Agent is not a chatbot. It is not a search box where you type questions and hope. It is a digital employee with a name, a voice, and a job description. You hire it during a short onboarding ritual, tell it how much freedom it has, and then it gets to work inside the boundaries you set. This guide walks you through the whole thing.
What the AI Agent actually is
Think of the Agent as your COO, not your intern. It wakes up, reads your store, runs analyses, generates campaigns, prepares affiliate assets, and drafts the emails that keep customers coming back. When a product has not sold in thirty days, it notices. When a buyer abandons their cart, it notices. When a popular product has no affiliate coverage, it notices. Then it tells you what to do, or does the safe part for you.
The Agent never lies to you and never makes up data. If it is not sure about something, it says so. Every action it takes is logged and auditable, so there are no silent operations and no surprises later. It speaks with the confidence of a top e-commerce operator, and it always says "we" because it is on your team.
The hiring ritual: name your co-pilot
Opening the Agent dashboard drops you into a hiring flow, not a chat window. First you give your Agent a name (the default is Muntij). Then you choose a job description that decides how much it is allowed to do on its own. This is the single most important decision you will make, because it sets the safety level for everything that follows.
There are three autonomy modes, and you can change them anytime. Your Agent only works within the mode you choose.
Assistant mode: watch, analyse, and draft
In Assistant mode, your Agent watches, analyses, and drafts, but nothing ships without your explicit approval. It identifies opportunities, writes the copy, and queues everything for your sign-off. This is the safest starting point and the best way to learn what the Agent can do. You approve every draft before anything is created or sent, so you always know exactly what is happening and why.
If you are new to automation, or if you simply like to stay hands-on, start here. You get all of the insight and none of the surprises.
Partner mode: automate the low-risk work
Partner mode is the middle ground and the one most sellers settle on. Your Agent drafts content and auto-executes low-risk actions, like preparing broadcast drafts and organising its own work. Anything with money or pricing attached still needs your approval. A coupon, a price change, or a commission adjustment always comes to you first.
This mode removes the busywork while keeping every financial decision in your hands. You are not approving every draft anymore, but you are still the final word on anything that costs money.
Autopilot mode: run the show inside guardrails
Autopilot is the full experience. Your Agent runs the show inside guardrails you set, and you get a daily briefing instead of a pile of approval requests. It scans your store, creates the reversible preparation work like broadcast drafts, and organises campaigns. When it spots a customer-marketing opportunity, it generates the email and saves it as a ready-to-send draft automatically.
Here is the critical line we never cross: even in Autopilot, nothing is ever sent, nothing changes a price, and nothing spends money without your explicit approval. Autopilot handles the safe preparation. You keep the final say on anything that sends, spends, or changes money.
The permission checklist: your scope of work
After you pick a mode, you walk through a permission matrix grouped by domain: products, marketing and email, affiliates, financial, analytics, and memory. Each checkbox explains exactly what the Agent will do with that permission. You can allow it to analyse inventory, create discount coupon drafts, generate affiliate swipe copy, segment customer lists, and much more. Unchecked boxes stay disabled.
The financial domain is where you will see the most "requires approval" wording, and that is deliberate. Creating coupons, modifying pricing, and spending on ads always demand your approval, no matter which mode you are in. The Agent can suggest and prepare. Only you can approve the money.
Guardrails: working hours, discounts, and the kill switch
During onboarding you configure the Agent's guardrails. Set working hours so it only operates when you want it to, cap the maximum discount it will ever suggest, choose your daily briefing time, and pick whether it notifies you by email, in the app, or both. There is also a pause button that freezes all execution instantly, your emergency kill switch.
These guardrails are enforced at the code level, not by promise. The Agent physically cannot act outside its working hours or exceed your discount cap. When a discount would go beyond your setting, it asks for approval instead of proceeding.
What the Agent does for you every day
Once hired, the Agent becomes the engine behind your growth. It scans your store for opportunities, from stale inventory and expiring coupons to abandoned carts and review gaps. It drafts and prepares campaigns. It builds abandoned checkout recovery sequences. It supports your affiliate network with swipe copy and tracked links. And it learns your preferences over time so its suggestions get sharper the longer you work together.
You do not have to understand every capability to benefit from it. The Agent surfaces its findings as clear recommendations with priority badges, and you accept, dismiss, or ask for a draft on each one. When something needs your approval, it sits in a single sign-off queue so you make one decision quickly and move on.
Getting started today
The best way to understand the Agent is to hire one and see it work. Start in Assistant mode, let it scan your store, and review the first batch of recommendations it gives you as a welcome gift. Once you trust it, you can move to Partner or Autopilot with confidence, because the guardrails never change.
