AI Agent Safety. Permissions, Approvals & Guardrails

The reason sellers hesitate to hand work to an AI Agent is trust. What happens if it sends the wrong email? What if it discounts too much? What if it spends money you did not approve? This guide is about exactly that trust. We break down the permission system, the approval queue, and the guardrails that make the MuntijPro AI Agent safe to hire. When you finish reading, you will know precisely what the Agent can and cannot do without you, in every mode.

Permissions are set, not promised

Your Agent can only use the tools you grant it. During onboarding you walk through a permission matrix grouped by domain, products, marketing, affiliates, financial, analytics, and memory, and you check the box for each thing you want it to do. Every checkbox has a clear explanation of what the Agent will do with it. Anything you leave unchecked stays disabled. There is no hidden access and no doing things on the side.

The three permission levels

Each tool you grant gets a permission level that controls how much the Agent can do with it. Some tools are read-only, meaning the Agent can analyse and report but change nothing. Others are draft, meaning it prepares but does not ship. Some are approval-required, meaning it creates the plan but you approve before anything happens. And a few allow it to execute directly, but only for low-risk, reversible actions and only in Autopilot mode. The level is tied to the mode you chose, and it applies to every action.

The approval queue is the sign-off gate

Whenever the Agent prepares something that needs your say, it does not act. It sends the action to your approval queue, a single place where you can review what it wants to do, see the draft, and approve or reject it in one click. Nothing behind the approval gate happens until you decide. This is how you stay hands-on without doing the work: the Agent does the preparation, and you do the judging.

Money actions always stop for you

The financial line is absolute. Any action that changes a product price, creates a coupon, adjusts an affiliate commission, or spends money, whether on ads or payouts, always requires your explicit approval. This rule does not change with your mode. Even in Autopilot, the Agent cannot touch your money without you. Autopilot removes busywork, but it can never remove your veto over dollars.

Big broadcasts need your sign-off too

Reaching your customers is not something the Agent does silently. Any broadcast that goes out, and especially any broadcast destined for a large list, requires your approval before it is sent. You are the only one who decides whether a message reaches your audience. The Agent drafts, you approve, it sends. If you do not approve, it does not send.

Working hours keep it on your schedule

Your Agent only acts inside the working hours you set during onboarding. If you tell it to work between nine and five, it does not act at midnight. Actions outside your window wait until you are comfortable. For an agent that may run on your behalf, controlling when it can act is a meaningful part of staying in control.

The discount cap and the big-offer rule

Two guardrails protect your margin specifically. Your maximum discount caps how deep any offer can go, and the Agent stays inside it. On top of that, certain offers are too large to fast-track: a discount above twenty percent, or one whose total value is large, always routes to your explicit approval regardless of mode. These are the decisions where a small error costs real money, so the system refuses to rush them.

Everything is logged and auditable

No action happens silently. Every move the Agent makes is written to an audit log with what it did, when, why, and at what permission level. If you ever wonder why something happened, or you want to review its work, the record is there. Transparency is not an extra, it is the backbone of trusting this co-pilot.

You can pause or change it anytime

You are never locked into a decision. The Agent has a pause button that freezes all execution instantly, your emergency kill switch. You can reopen the onboarding wizard to change permissions, tighten a max discount, adjust working hours, or switch autonomy modes whenever you like. The settings are yours to revise, and the Agent respects them every time.

What Your AI Growth Agent Actually Does For Your Store

Most sellers hear AI and imagine a robot writing captions. Here is what the MuntijPro AI Growth Agent really does: it quietly watches your store every week, finds the sales you are losing to abandoned carts, dead stock and missing proof, writes the finished campaigns for you, and remembers what you approved last time. It also handles every harmless job on its own, and stops dead before anything touches your money.
